We are currently travelling in queensland and would like to visit the deighton river. Reason being we have a painting by ray crooke painted in the area. It shows smooth rocks next to river. Is such a river crossing accessible in the area? Just want a feel for the country that hangs on our wall! Travelling in a 4x4.

The crossing is near Old Laura (abandoned) and is easily assessable plus you can camp nearby.

See here on Google Earth.

Cheers.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.
