-Member of a fwdvictoria affiliated club
-Have a sat phone or HF
-Have at least 2 vehicles
-Give at least 2 weeks notice to get the approval and permit.

I have seen him checking vehicles often. I hear they are even more enthusiastic at the
Mansfield end. Expect to spend an extra $250 if you don't get a permit.
Also Putrol, to top the fun off, take a look at snow cams of Bulla and Baw Baw, not much snow away from the man made stuff. At about 1550m Mt Skene will be even worse off.
Looks like there might be something better by Sunday night though.
I am going snow camping when the conditions are better ( worse!), and going over the other side to Arbuckle
