Gidday

According to my memory, the Holland track cuts through a corner of the Jilbadji nature reserve and the Victoria rocks nature reserve, so the answer is probably "no"

Enjoy the trip, it is great country, though it might be better if the rain eases up!

Cheers

Cheers Rocco
I rang around and the authorities say it's ok but we gotta watch out for the baits. The track is currently closed so ill call em back the day we go n if it's still closed it's on to plan B, fingers crossed the rain holds off

Hi Phil,

Where are you getting your information that the track is currently closed? I called the caravan park at Hyden and coolgardie visitor centre and they says its open just very wet. I was advised not to go in the bog holes as they where flooded.

Unless its changed in the past 24 hours?

Thanks

hi liftnlock
beware of taking your mate in that there are regular bait drops done through that area and around the many rocky outcrops for the control of dingo and foxes
it could very easily turn into sad event
I don't think there is any so called restriction other than the above risk
cheers

if you contact a calm office for that area they should be able to say if there are any restrictions in regard to nature reserves and dogs

hi again liftnlock
just a thought if you contact the wave rock caravan park they can also advise on whether the track is open or closed just looking at rain fall details hyden has had 36mls in last 7 days which is 144pts in old measure nearly 1.5 inches so even if track is open you can expect considerate amounts of water in the low parts and the clay out there is the slippery sticky type so beware
cheers enjoy

Yeh plan "b". Grab the fishing rods n go hide behind the dunes but first see whats being caught. We can have a look at either north or south we're easy.
