I would love some feedback from anyone who has purchased the EO Topo 200K.
I already have a 250K that I run on Ozi but would love to hear from users how the EO product compares.

Rob

I find the EO Topo maps to be much clearer etc than the old 250K maps from Natmap.

Reading the site it seems the first version is a copy of the old 250k maps so may be out a bit where new roads are concerned (but so is the 250K). But Natmap are not going to produce any more updates whereas EO intends to update all the time (task started I think) and produce new versions each year to cater for updates.

I also believe the scale is slightly larger, so the EO map at 100% is slightly larger (closer but less real estate) than the 250k map at 100%. The EO map looks like a 200k on screen at 100%.

I find this to be just great and would recommend the EO product to anyone who is used to the Natmap 250k (which is in fact 2008 mapping)

Trust this helps

Alan,

You are completely correct and the road update task has started with a number of major updates for NSW already loaded and a great number done on our development machine that will make it to the online version later this week. I expect the next 200K product release will be in the early part of 2014 just before the primary travel season but it could be earlier just depends of getting the updates done.

Bill,
It will work perfectly on the HN6. If you have any questions or problems in loading it or making it work please let me know however the product was designed and built to load onto the HN6 directly.

Thanks David and Michelle

I thought that would be the case - just checking that there were no teething issues.

I'll order it as part of my attempt to get to a $150 order which will give me membership of ExplorOz. I've been using this website for nothing for too long now.

Bill
