Hi Guys
I am looking at fitting a cb in my Triton Mn.
As there is not much scope ,on where to fit, I am thinking something small like GME 3100.Does anyone have one of these with the magnet antenna, if so would like to know how it preforms and does the antenna have enough pull.
Would appreciate any other
feedback on fitting a CB in the Triton
Many thanks

Both Icom and GME make a radio that doesn't need a control head. All the controls are on the microphone, so you can put the radio under a
seat or in the glove box etc. The Icom one has a speaker in the microphone so you don't need a separate speaker.

Don't put it under the
seat. One day you may want to really use th car as a 4wd and go through a creek etc. oops!! Water in the cabin. Forgot to get under and plug all those drain holes and the unused spare upgrade and utility holes.
It does happen. Somewhere after half way in this video, a woman says something about her computer being under the
seat.
Water in cabin
