Only having one 9 kg bottle I,ve been wondering how long a small 3kg bottle would last having the opportunity this week I did the following. The fridge being a 180 litre Dometic 3 way .
Wednesday night ran the fridge on 240 as I figured the fridge would already be cold should my 9 kg bottle run out therefore not having to bring it down from warm I then ran on gas for 24 hrs for .3k useage. Then I wandered how much the hotwater heater would use, so I ran that for 20minutes which gave very hotwater it used .2kg
So fridge all day and hotwater for a shower is .5kg per day ie 6 days LESS anycooking so reckon 3/4 days safely before I need to panic on refilling the 9 kg.
Useless bit of information.

hi new boy, have found gas fuse ( avail commercially at various suppliers) a good indicator of bottle usage. weighing would do it as well as it looks like you've done. usage would vary widely.

G,Day. To check how much gas is left, just pour hot water over it then feel the side to find the cold part. (From the bottom) This is the amount of gas left in the bottle.
