Mr Mo you are supposed to help me. How did you get your cute pic on the screen? Outa control here today - 49 degrees, power failure at 7:00 (whilst on computer), fridges struggling (beer in Engel o.k.), dogs refuse to go outside where they belong, now comes the attack of the grasshoppers, locusts, sandflies, sticky flies and then two boat loads of people pull up out the front like they owned the place. The famous Rex Ellis - doing a 11 day tour in rubber duckys and no canopies.

Ruth

Ya gotta spill the beans, Not everyone is as old as you or me. Therefore they don't know what you mean about Rex Ellis. But I think the people orta know.

Can you enlighten them about who, principally, conducted the first eco tourist trips in Aust., why he might be the first down the river since it rained, & who had the B'ville pub, & who is a bloody character?

Ruth you are good trying to pick the time of year for us all to visit - 42 degrees at 8 pm. LUVERLY

I see you are asing about your pic in the postings. You will need to load a small -less than 50kb picture as your first of the two under your "My Home" page going to "My Rig" saving the picture. Under the "Profile" page have a signature sentence or wise words and your picture will be included.

I may sound like I know but it took me long enough to learn how to do it. I thought I needed to know all about programming but David has all of that made easy.Regards

I actually had seen it myself Ruth and stuffed it several times before I had it right. I had the photo all there ok but really could not get it. You have done well.

We are really only just getting ready to do our travelling at ground level as we have never had time before and much easier to get in a plane, so it may not be long before we head North seeing those fish. It has been great getting you bulletins.Regards

Gosh, they don't look too bad at all. Thanks everyone for your help. I'll try and add a flood one tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to everyone getting here - my turn to go fishing with the visitors when we are busy. Ian usually gets the fun trips but this year it's my turn. These are Diamantina Barra

I had the same problem, a 11year kid might know how to take a photo from one file to another and have it appear on the bottom of the reply, but she still can't fit a snorkel as yet.

Hello Wayne - you must be due here soon. The Pub now has split a/c in all the bars (2) and dining room. What a difrence.
Toonfish - I didn't know you worked. Wash your mouth out about the net - we don't do that in Queensland. Email me - you will get a laugh out of the rig he uses, the ones he caught these with. I'll tell you but I won't tell everyone!
Willem - very big windstorm for two hours last night - could see the front, could see the lightning all across the north-east but wind and no rain. Trees were bent double. Just like the barber's cat. These are Diamantina Barra

Yes Willem, it is Uncle Ian (Bloke, Hey You, Mongrel) and very rpoud of his fish. We call them "Diamantina Barra" but of course, they are yellowbelly. After filleting, overnight laid flat in the cold room, what fats in the fish changes colour, get rid of that, then straight on the hot BBQ - even I eat it and I grew up on coastal fish. These are Diamantina Barra

Thought you'd be about the first in - you doing a double or single crossing. The Desert should be good - not too much wind during the summer. I thought you were here after July - but we get so busy then that days pass me buy. Bring a big net and catch the locusts and take them with you! Brookie just rang and said Ch 7 news after Cunnamulla storm, Ch 2 news (ABC) tonight and my son rang and said we were on Ch 10 (Brisbane) just a while ago. These are Diamantina Barra
