ABR Sidewinder - Testimony

Thanking a business on the phone or by email for good service is fine, but no-one else gets to hear about it.

So this is to let you folks know of the great service I had recently from Derek at ABR Sidewinder.

I had installed one of Derek's neat 60 amp circuit breakers under the bonnet in a circuit that is normally loaded to about 40 amps max, tapering off to maybe 10 amps. The CB kept popping, now known to be due to a combination of electrical load and under-bonnet environmental heat (they are thermal circuit breakers). After a few days the CB would not reset.

Derek provided an up-rated replacement discounted by the price of the failed unit, even though the failure was probably due to me choosing an item not rated for the job. The replacement was dispatched pronto by express post so that it met me in a couple of days further up the track.

No quibbles about me maybe choosing the wrong part in the first place, just great advice and top service.

Another vote for ABR.

He runs an excellent business and tends to retail quality products. They also seem to test a lot of their gear to make sure it has a good service life.

Ditto for me, Derek did a second battery supply and install on my Prado in 2011, hasn't missed a beat since (well I have had to replace the battery but that's understandable).

Can't go wrong with him!!
