Review: Hema Navigator 7

My Shop Item Rating: My Rating 5/5

I have the HN7 and have owned a HN1, HN5 and HN6.
What I like is the size of the screen and the ease of use. It is very clear and with the sun visor I purchased makes it near perfect.
I purchased a larger micro SD card and loaded all my own Oziexplorer maps, name files, waypoints and routes.
I have not used the street nav component yet as I have no use for that but we have a big trip coming up later this year so I will probably use it to look at the camping area poi's.
I have never had a problem with the quality of previous HN's as Michael B has but I did manage to break the on/off switch on the HN1. Hema asked me to send it back which I did. It was returned after 3 days with the switch repaired, firmware upgraded and no charge. It was two years old.
My only regret with the current model is that it does not come with Memory Map. Not a big deal.
I would recommend this product as a great 4wding and touring navigation aid.
