Hi All,
I'm looking for a central locking kit to fit a 100 series cruiser. Standard kits wont fit (unless someone has come up with a solution) as it is a cable rather than a rod system. I read in the archives about someone who was developing a kit for this. Does anyone have any more info on this, or any suggestions?
Cant afford another mortage to fit a genuine kit.
thanks.

Toyota are reluctant to supply a genuine kit due to security issues. I have a friend who works in a dealership and he could source parts required for $2300. Would have to replace all door locks, keys, reprogram the ECU and so on.

Fatz,
Check out this company,
http://www.dynamco.com.au/
HQ are in
Perth (where are you?)
They have developed a kit for the LC100 (although it is not listed on their site)
A bit tricky to install, took me a good 2-3 hours per door to get in, but
well worth the effort. I have a HZJ105 Std. You have to connect small rods direct into the handle itself (where the cables run into).
I think I paid around $150 for the complete kit about 8 months ago.
If you are in
Perth I would be more than happy to let a hand
Regards
Dave
