Yes, Oldbaz & the childbride have returned from a month touring northern NSW
& coast. The old Jack & Gazal performed faultlessly again & our canoeing aspirations
were fully realised.
Highlights...Black Queen Theatre at Lightening Ridge.
... Woody Head Campground near Iluka.
Best bits...the slow pace..that will now be the norm after having to fit previous
outback trips into a tight timeframe.
Worst bits..the terrible drought conditions affecting the folk around Walgett area.
Most amusing..the caravanners addiction to TV & the need to get a picture ASAP.
no...we don't & wont carry one..:)))
The really bad bit....coming home after a month in shorts to minus degrees..that
really hurt...:))))
cheers...oldbaz.

Good on you Baz , hope everything was in good order back home - but you missed out on the Snow Sleet and Hail we had in Vic.

Will keep some for when you come this way.

This slow pace comment of yours , how do you do that ?

Don't you get ichy feet when you have finished a cup of coffee and seen the view .

I was looking at the track seasonal closure list in Vic recently and it shows 965 tracks , how does one tick them all off the bucket list unless you get into it.

G'day Robin, after a series of outback trips that needed a heap of
nightly setups with a C/t & one caravan trip to the west last year that
required 500km a day of corrugations for part of it...it was such a pleasure to drop the pace. Even stayed a week in one place..
I found it easy, although the childbride was always anxious to move on after a couple of days.
Perhaps I'm just slowin up in general..:)))
I certainly don't have your love of hardcore 4wd stuff, but admire
your interest in that sphere & in vehicle mods..Nissan, of course...
Thank you for your kind response...oldbaz.
