We are deciding between an Elddis Affinity caravan or a Bailey Pegasus caravan. Both are the Australian versions and both are new. Can anyone advise on which is the better van or of any problems they may have had with them please?
Thanks

I have no knowledge of Elddis or Bailey Caravans, but if you google : "problems with...." you can read a litany of fault reports on either of them. UK based mostly.
This may or may not indicate they are any better or worse than others, but leaking &
cracking panels seem much in evidence. In light of that I would be asking the dealer
to put the hose over them & carefully checking the results. I'm not sure either of them
are widely represented in Australia. Are they locally built or just uprated European
models ?. Perhaps there are owners on the
forum who can be more specific, but owners are inclined to defend their choice anyway. Ultimately, the decision is yours..
good luck with it..cheers....oldbaz.

Which is best will depend more than a tiny bit on what you want.
Every van ever built will have their detractors, some of whom will have actually had the use of one - ;) but another
forum has plenty of comments (both positive and negative) from owners of both brands, so might be worth a visit. PM me if you want/need a link.
