This property is right on the edge of the Pilliga Nature reserve/
State Forest. It is the Southern recharge area for the Great Artesian Basin, and is an idyllic spot for a bushwalking or birdwatching stopover. Additional benefits are the Blue Wren Cafe, where excellent coffee and a selection of fine pizzas can be had. BYO or buy wine here to accompany your evening meal.
Spend a day just lazing, or get energetic and follow the marked trails around the property, ant with points of interest marked. IF you are lucky, you might be able to have a guide, in the person of the man who developed the
walking tracks.
