Good morning all
Opened the Dometic RM 2350, 90 ltr 'fridge this morning and found it was not working on 240v.
We have been living in the caravan for 10 months while our house is being built and the 'fridge has been working fine on electricity.
The house is to be finished in 2 weeks, but we would like the fridge to work again on electricity. This morning I turned it over to gas.
I have checked that the power point is working, and that is the extent of my knowledge in this area. Is there a fuse somewhere by any chance?

More likely to be the 240v element.
Check this out.

Not hard to fix if you're a bit handy.

Thanks Bob
Do have to take the fridge out, or can I access the element by taking the bottom cover off from the outside?
I'm fairly handy and the first thing I would do is disconnect the electricity to the van. lol
I normally have a good look at what I need to replace before I do the job and also draw a diagram etc.

Yep, front controls off, fridge out about 150mm. This gives you access to the terminals on the top of the fridge. Both vents off at the back, provides space to work. 12v and 240v elements are inside the flue on the bottom right rear of the fridge. Youtube has some movie clips, albeit from different models.

Please take note of the Safety/Legislation comments on that thread.
Cheers and good luck,
