Hilux suspension upgrade required

I am looking to upgrade my 91 hilux tray back
suspension as it is stuffed. Although
the springs (leaf front and back) look to be std not heavy duty the ride at the moment is quite hard.
Can anyone recomend shockies or spring set-ups to give me a better ride. I do some beach and rough country work and usually carry about 400kg.
