I recently requested info on
Dingo Hill Track and got excellent advice from Boobook & River Swaggie - Thank you gentlemen, we had a great trip.
Went in through
Licola, Primrose Gap to Glencairn then up Bull plain Tack t/r into Black Soil and down to junct. of McAllister & Caledonia which was exactly as described, but, able to cross at junct. (drive down MacA & cross Caledonia) and camped 4 nights on east side of McAllister where we celebrated Xmas. then continued up MacA river t/r onto Butcher Link Track (very steep climb and descent) t/r at Caledonia River and continue up "
Dingo Hill" which was as described just a long steep climb. Spent rest of our 10 days camped on top of Mt
Wellington, Moroka River and at a very nice secluded spot on Bryces Plain. All in all a most enjoyable break.
Again thank you everyone on this site for the ease of getting good up to date, local, current information.
