John. My early childhood hobby was
wildflowers. The problem with using a common name is that except for a few very common
wildflowers, names are different in different regions for the same flower, and one common name can be used to describe a number of flowers. I always kept to the botanical names.

Thks MH. I am getting the common names from the FloraBase site which probably gives the most used name at least - by popular request.
