Hi Stephen,
Another excellent blog and a marvellous subject. Such amazing trees.
I'm beginning to wonder about the tree I thought was an A. pickardii. It doesn't have the usual habit, more like a juvenile A.peuce but it looked SO old and had much bigger seed pods - wider and longer - as
well as the sharply pointed, stiff leaves.
Ah,
well! It's all good fun chasing the answers. The trouble not much housework gets done!
Cheers,
Min

Hi Min
Thanks for that and it is great that you went out of your way to see these majestic trees that are much older than we all think.
Forget the housework, it is an ever on going chore and there is always tomorrow.
Cheers
Stephen
