Wow... I was never taught this at school. :(
So much history right on our door step. My first learnings of David
Carnegie were through the mention of the name
Carnegie in the books written by The Leyland Brothers when they traversed Australia from west to east in 1966. Now I can put some meaning to the name.
Thanks for the awesome write up. I enjoyed every word of it.

Glad your enjoying it Fab - I didn't hear of
Carnegie until I was 28 years old - read about him on the wall of the kitchen of
Carnegie Campground.
