I now have 3D and the 2 CD set with the sat images from Ozi ,what a great couple of add ons to the Ozi programs and at a very good price ,I would recommed both of these if you want to do some serious trip planing ,you can really see the lay of the land by turning the satalite image to 3D .NO I dont get a kick back from them LOL .Just wanted to let you know that its worth it if you have looked at them but unsure to get them or not .

Hi Peter,

This sounds very interesting.

I understand that you purchased the 3D software from Ozi, but did you also get the 2 CD set with sat images from Ozi also?

Many Thanks

Hi TonyG ,Yes I did it was $33 I think, came ready to install and configured for Ozi ,just work it as any other map file in Ozi can load wpts etc on it .I have made a waypoints list of major towns and locations on the 1.125 maps , in the w aypoint number box I just type in the town name I load this to help find spots on the sat images . The image at 100% is approx like being in a plane at 4km looking down.

Peter,
Sounds interesting.
What type of laptop are you using? I note that the OziExplorer site recommends a 3D graphics card, but it will work without it, but to not rule out problems if it's not a 3D card.
Got an idea my old 233MHz Pentium laptop may not make the grade.
