Apologies to all the testostrone driven males on this site. I enjoy your company and input immensely.

And to all the estrogen driven females ... whose company I equally enjoy .... perhaps more so.

Herself ... in a fit of pique, has labled this site ..... "The Other Woman" ... Envy ... tis a sad and grievous failing ... methinks more attuned to the female of the species.

So what am I to say to the CEO when she claims far too much of my time is being kidnapped by this scarlet wanton creature .... perhaps Ruth or Maaaaaaaaaaaa can help me out on this one ............. :-(

This is the prefect reason for hiding in another room staying out of harms way. I hate TV, herself loves it. So...... But ever so often SWMBO comes in and declares "Talking to your girlfriend again, huh?" Guess who. hahahahahahaha

Peter 2......Unfortunately it is not possible to keep the G60 in the house because of a bad gearbox oil leak and we have just had the floors polished. No, I have my own little hidey-hole in the house with bed, PC, music centre and cupboard full of magazines. Quite a neat set-up but it has taken a long time to get here....hahahahaha

I heard on the radio today that 1 in 4 aussies have a mental illness. Which group are you in??? Better go for the Fender Bender as I hear that he is unmarried at the moment...hahahahaha

And to think that I have invited you for ice cream. You keep your hands to yourself and your shaved legs hidden when you walk on to my domain...OK?

This thread is getting so long maybe someone could weave it into a garmet. Good question Willem. I would have to answer 3.
But I dunno what group three is. I am disappointed that only one in four Aussies have a mental illness - I thought it was a universal experience.

Andrew I am amazed that you find time for this idle chit chat considering your calling in life. Never mind. Two more nights of posts and then you can have a break from the arduous task of answering all the fan mail.

It rained here yesterday. 127.5 drops or .5mm just enough to turn the dust on the cars onto mud...bugger.

Will have to do a new Rig shot with our car in touring mode before we leave and say hooroooo to all my fans - well there's you at least! Prickly pear icecream - yummo.

Here she is 8.30 on a Monday night and she is still at work chating on the forum.
I get the feeling she does not like my cooking????????????

Send it to me, I like Top Deck and you can post it by snail mail.

Rosco,
Just because I have a space near the PC for meals to be served, I own my own dictionary which is always close, my Daughter has a one hour time slot to use the PC, the time she gets home from school until the time I get home from work. The fact that I check at 5am Saturday mornings just before I leave on a weekend trip and again on Sunday night when I get home, just to see what has happened over the weekend. The fact that I get emails from SWMBO asking when we will meet face to face again, no I don't think I am hooked, I can give it up at any time. Sorry got to go an other email just came in.

At least you're only in trouble with your own handbrake........I was the mug who introduced "Pesty" to this great gathering of like-minded (ok; well maybe not all-that-like-minded sometimes!!!!) individuals.
Now, I'm in the deep smelly stuff most of the time with my own SWMBO as well as Pesty's.
Oh well, I console myself by saying that......."at least while they're bothering me, they're leaving some other poor bastard alone"........LOLOLOL

Roachy and Pesty, since upgrading the internet access here have nearly exceeded the monthly limit in two weeks with two "internet researchers" in the family. So I don't have another woman like Rosco, any longer. I do hear fits of laughter from the Finance Office though with a second EO forum follower.

We may need to extend the limit just to see the weather radar. How many times a day???

Hey John, this is serious. During February my IT provider keep emailing me to go on a different plan. I normally have 10 hours per month and I exceeded it 4 times - I was wasn't even researching, just talking dribble on here - had to hide the Visa dockets so Ian couldn't see how much my "affair" is costing me. LOL.

Ruth it is the problem too, I have just been on the phone again to my Stillpond supplier about going into an endless loop as I try to get the system upgraded.

I guess I have done a couple of Windows sytem upgrades that have been required - one to go, and also a few viewings of the Chernobyl tragedy pages Truckster referred me to last week. All those photos do lift the data rate.

Ruth, how far is Big Red from Birdsville please?

Big Red is 37 klms from Birdsville - but, if you have a picnic at night out at Big Red and one of your lot drinks too much sauce, then they did 60 klms coming home because Jonesy the Electrician thought the white posts on the side of the road were part of the slalom race. True story.
Road out there is rough as - at the moment, lot of it was under water and the graders haven't been out.

• Yes Ruth she is absolutely beautiful with a disposition to match.

• My friend Willie and I have had terse words with regard to the content of the Member's rigs. I think the discussion ended with him telling me to "go and read your Women's Weekly". He just takes too many grumpy pills every now and then.

• I was deadly serious about EO making an magazine advertisement out of this thread (In fact I know a really good advertising agency that could do it justice).

• I think the discussion above summarises everything which keeps us all coming back here; the comraderie, the friendships, the plethora of contradicting opinions, the undeniable knowledge bank for both equipment and travel, and most of all the down to earth Australian humour.
