OziExplorer on 'generic' GPS ??

Mapping Software is used by several different types of Navigation Devices, including Laptops/Netbooks, Smartphones, Tablets, PDAs and all in one GPS Navigators (in off road mode).

Any issues or points to watch out installing OziExplorer (CE) on a generic brand GPS ??
The device is advertised as being able to install Ozi- has SD card etc.
I do have a license for OziExplorer CE.
I am a bit of a dodo when it comes to this IT type stuff.
Any comments or advise very welcome.

Hi Wombat, Basically, copy Oziexplorer including the maps on to your SD card. Insert the card into the GPS. In the set-up menu of your GPS there should be a feature which allows you to select the path for the Navigation program. Here you need to select SD card and the the Oziexplorer.exe file.
