The Pinnacles is about a 2.5 hours drive from
Perth CBD, or just on the outskirts of
Cervantes township if you are staying there. It cost $12/car
to enter this park - usually on an honesty system. You then take a 4km drive following a one-way loop route. You can stop at various points
to take photos and they are 100% accessible, meaning you can walk right up
to them, including those in wheelchairs.
Best time for photography is of course sunset. The rocks really take on a magical appearance in the dusk light and the whole place at any
time has an eerie "out of this world" appearance.
