Big thanks to everyone who responded with remedies and potions re insect repellents, there's some great tips and suggestions. I've decided to give the bushman's a go and also try a few other products as
well, as
well as packing other lotions in the event of bites/stings including some anti-histamines.
Co-incidently my mum contacted me this morning to tell me she had been stung by a euro wasp and that she couldn't believe the pain of it, her arm has been affected and I passed on a couple of tips that I received yesterday and she is now carrying around with her some stuff in case it happens again - I certainly concur with her that the sting of a euro is OUCH - I was stung a few years ago several times on the nose - the blighter got caught under the rim of my hat ...and my whole face was numb - - andrew no smart remarks please.
cheers once again for the tips
Lyn
