Suckered into the "coallition of the willing" to find non-existent WMDs!

I'm sure it kills something, but I don't think it kills mateship. My mates and I still get along fine. We never trusted politicians before, this only reinforces our scepticism, but doesn't stop us helping each other.
Just my 2c worth.

The way I look at it is you always back up your mates. If we expect the USA have our back then we cannot pick and choose when we help them. Either all in or all out is the deal. Personally I think they are a mate worth keeping.

What gets to me is why didn't the US & Aus governments just tell the truth? We all need plenty of juice to run our 4wd's and whatever else and its certain them Arabs weren't going to keep giving it to us at the right price. So what option did we have but to just go there and take it? I reckon most people understand this is the situation even if they don't like to admit it.
