User Treks on Map

newsletter 405 there was a write up of how you see all the ExplorOz
treks on a map of Australia. Is it possible to have the same facility for User
treks? Do others see a benefit for themselves in this suggestion?

There used to be that facility.
However user
treks are submitted and are not edited for gaps after upload. Some people are not diligent with their data before upload and as a consequence there are a lot of straight lines where one point joins the next point which maybe hundreds if not thousands of kilometers away.
This makes the map quite messy looking. If David could put some kind of filter or auto-mod on the data that does not join points that are say more than 500 metres apart then I could see benefit in reintroducing this map.
