Has anyone found someone who can disarm the factory fitted Tyre Monitor in the latest Ford Ranger XLT PX Dual Cab. Our Ford dealer has no answer but say Ford Australia are working on a solution. The problem being if you fit another set of rims the monitor reads no connection with the new rims as it is trying to connect with the original sensors and keeps sending the warning beep to advise you which sends you mad after a short time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Cheers
Ellis

Why not fit the sensors to the new rims and reset the thing

Next best advice would be to look for a dedicated Ranger Forum

Thanks for your input. The reason I don't change the sensors is I have a second set of rims and tyres set up so they can be swapped when off-roading

Ford say they can't program the light to be turned off. Yes the door is annoying haven't found out how to stop it yet. If they got rid of a lot of the electronic rubbish it would be a much better vehicle!!

try over on newranger.net if nothing here - there are guys with similar setups but not sure if they have solved the TPMS issues yet - the new manual with the wiring diagrams is only just out.
