I've recently returned to WA after spending over 20 years living in NSW. I'm a bit out of touch with
places to go camping out of
Perth, especially when there is chance the March long Weekend will be rather hot.
We are
well set up, prefer to
bush camp but don't mind paying. We would prefer to avoid crowds, and try very hard to avoid excessive late night music/drinking/driving competitions.
I suppose if it forecast to be cool we can go inland or north; if it forecast to be hot we can go south and stick to the coast.
Any suggestions?

Anywhere south on a long weekend is quite busy. If you don't mind the drive the
Denmark area is good. It will still be busy, but not too crowded like
Busselton and Margaret River. Or you could go inland to the
dam areas, but not sure what camping restrictions are like.

Hey Rod, just be sure to note that in WA our long weekend is a different weekend to that observed over east....
check our ExplorOz Calendar for confirmation of these dates ;)
