I am interested in roof top boat loader. most boats are carried up side down, while one of them
carries it the tight way up. Has any body had some experience with that.
regards
klaus

Perhaps you bumped the wrong key LOL
One possible reason for carrying it upside down is that when moving the airflow will push it down onto the roof making it more stable.
If you have it the RIGHT way up the airflow will tend to lift it and make things unstable,
Also it will suck anything you leave in the boat out of it.
You will also have to make a cradle like the Kayakers use which will impede air flow and increase consumption,
Just be like the rest and load the roof rack up with the boat the outboard and a few jerries of fuel and remember to duck inside when you hit a decent bump. ROFL

Gday
I always thought that up side down was in case the vehicle rolled while crossing a river or creek , and then all would be ok ..up the other way and the boat will fill up when it is raining .
