Hi All,

Please keep an eye out for this distinctive Oz Pig.
STOLEN from Tumbarumba Caravan Park NSW. It's personalized with GAV & TAN (with some flames) etched into the door. If anybody sees it or someone tries selling one please contact Tumbarumba Police. Reward offered!
It was stolen on 12/04/16 along with a Engel fridge and other camping gear.
About $4000 all up from a number of victims.
(Sorry if this has been on previously)

Hi Steve

I hope that they catch those low life scum and the owners get their stolen property back.

To steal that type of camping equipment is scraping at the bottom of the barrel.

Cheers

Yep, hope the gear gets found / returned, and the low life scum get a decent penalty for their actions.
Would've been great for someone to catch them in the act !

Probably druggies looking for stuff to sell, but if taking this sort of thing for their own personal camping kit, how on Earth could they ever use in in 'peace' without looking over their shoulder all the time for the big karma bus lining them up ?

Sorry to hear that.. Used to have an on site van, at Bawley point, south coast NSW.. Was know, that people would park on the side of the road out the front, and run through the park in the middle of the night, grabbing what they could, going through boats, taking what they could carry. Camp ovens, push bikes, rods n reels..
I try to be wary of what is left around, when not there, or at night.. Where ever we camp.
Hope they burned their hands, and you all get your belongings back.
Low life people like that are a waste of oxygen, and space on this planet..
Cheers Odog

I agree, of course, with all the previous comments; ICE addicts, scum, etc.
I hate hearing stories like this, being a Baby Boomer, I still have an inherent trust in people (albeit a tad shakey of late - election looming ;)

Just recently I took out additional insurance that covers most of our expensive gear. Sign of the times.

I hope the attached photo is etched into peoples minds and the word get's around. Just ensure that you don't walk up and 'snot' the owner if you spot the pig. It may be some poor bugger that purchased it.

Cheers

You got a link for Facebook, Steve? Sharing it everywhere might bring a response.

Checked it out and shared it Steve. Thieving buggers have probably welded a new door on it, or something similar to disguise it?

Thanks,
Bob

I agree, only the lowest of the low would steal other campers gear, although I might add if I had to have something of mine stolen the Ozpig would have been my first choice. It was probably the biggest waste of money & space that I have ever bought for camping, thankfully I managed to sell it!
