The
Exploroz Traveller app works great, does everything I need. Only one thing, I'm not sure how to change. When tracking, the track takes long intervals between logging, creating straight lines rather than following the actual road/track travelled. Possibly a simple change to a setting.
Can anyone help out with this ?

David says this is part of the work-around problem we encountered to try to make the app work with versions lower than V5 Android where he had to set a fixed timer - I think it's 1minute. This is only an issue for pre-Version 5 Android. Is 1minute really showing straight lines on the map? Assuming you are talking about Track Logging, not snail trail?

Hi Michelle, Sorry, I should have been clearer. It is the Snail Trail but also logging when I look at my completed track recorded. My Android version is 5.0.1

Ok so go to Settings - Advanced - Geolocations Setting - and make location update interval 5000, the fastest updated location interval to 10,000, and distance filter can be either 20 or 50 (what is it now?) - can you send us a screen shot to show us how straight the lines are? David doesn't think its these settings and could be a dodgy GPS but let's go with the setting changes first and see.

Hi Michelle, My current settings are, Location update 1000, Fastest update interval 1000, Distance filter 50.
I have now changed Location update to 5000, Fastest location update to 10000. I will leave the filter at 50.
I will be going on a short trip next Sunday and see what difference the changes make.
I will also send you a screen shot after Sunday.
