Have a problem with power supply to RH park light on my 012 D 40. My wiring diagram says its fed from fuse number 36 in engine compartment power distribution board. There are 3 boxes of spaghetti and fuses under the bonnet and I can't find that fuse. I removed the fuse I thought it was, but other park light still works so not that one. I can't see any numbers adjacent to fuses. If no one knows on here I will have to go to Nissan. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
from memory there is a very
well hidden fuse block in the engine compartment on the passenger side.

Gday
My old nissan had a fuse box next to the drivers foot,,or was it the passengers foot. Might pay to look at both. I think Nissan pay a special engineer to hide the fuses in out of the way
places.

have you checked to see if the R/H tailamp is workin
if it is workin then its not a fuse it would be very odd if the manufacturerset it up so that a fuse would work on the front only or rear only park lamps
cheers mechpete

I know it's not a fuse. I just want to locate that particular fuse so I can run a new wire from there to light. Wire must be broken in harness somewhere.

there is a fuse box on the passenger side under the bonnet, it is near the firewall, it looks like a module with all the wires going into it, the fuse box is underneath,it is
well hidden took me ages to find it first time

Thanks I actually found that but it doesn't have the no 36 fuse. I went to Nissan yesterday and was told the harness has changed in later models and the fuse I need is in fact in that box. I just have to work out which one it is and run another wire from it to offending park light. The harness's are a nightmare in these and probably any other modern car. Would hate to have problems out in
the desert or somewhere. Thanks everyone but think I have sorted it now.

Hi,
This may or may not be relevant, but thought id throw it in.
I have an older Nav than yours, mines a D22.
However, point may still be valid, I had tremendous issues with lamps n fuses, and I spent a looong time on it and removed a substantial amount of trims, eventually to find the offending earth point.
This was found in the passenger footwell on LH side behind the plastic, cleaned it up and rewired it, been good since.
Just a thought......

.
Ron makes a very good point. How can you be sure that the +12v feed to the park lamp is broken? It may
well be the earth return wire or connection that is faulty.
Testing at the park lamp with it switched on will determine the fault.
