Installed v1.10.0 last night and downloaded the maps again, this time to the SD card, so retrieved some internal memory. Very nice.
On my recent trip just completed I had v1.9.x installed. On my Android tablet with Android 5.0.2 it didn't track properly :-( But as discussed elsewhere, the team has been working on that and v1.10.0 has fixed it.
I just did two
test drives, one with mobile data on as it normally would be. Then halfway through the drive I turned mobile data and wifi off to simulate no coverage and therefore
test buffering, then turned it on again as I approached
home. The whole track was properly uploaded to my
treks.
I repeated the
test on a different route. This time I turned wifi and data off before I left
home and turned it on again after I got to my PC and opened my
treks in EO. I was then able to watch the update occurring in real time. Very cool.
