Does anyone have advice on TV antennae. All the advertisers claim theirs to be the best, prices vary wildly. I have a pop top troopcarrier and am only able to install either the foldaway type that store in a tube or the dome type that mount on the roof. Can anyone recommend one from experience.

I'm a caravanerand TV reception can be a pain especially in fringe areas.... The T or Y foldaway type ones or the dome ones seem to be ok where there is reasonable signal....BUT there are lots of
places where signal is poor. The larger phaselink/Explorer type seems to give better reception but are larger units larger units and there fore not as easy to store. Generally the bigger & more elements the better....... But a set of rabbit ears also works in lots of
places with poor vhf reception, and pick up uhf in the strong areas. I got tv with set of rabbit ears attached to rear of uhf Helix areial in Agnes Waters, which is one the hardest
places around to get a signal.
