25w UHF Remote Head

Hi Guys,
I am looking for a UHF 25w 80 channel with a remote head. The Icom 410 pro looks good but I want a remote head.
Yes, I have an ACMA licence so no need to site regulations regarding comms etc.

Motorola 338 uhf with remote head also fits the bill. I know it can be ramped up to 50 watts.
Great radio and will cop a flogging. You just pay the price.

Motorola stopped manufacturing GM338/GM339 3-5 years ago like most of the WARIS range of radios ie GP338/339 ATS2500.
But know what your saying -same went for syntrx units of 90's

pretty much ALL the manufacturers of commercial UHF two way will have a remote head product.
If you want commercial output power ..... you will be looking at a commercial product.
For those that are getting narky about the legalities.
It is not unreasonable to have a 25 or 50watt commercial two way radio running full power on licenced frequencies and the CB radio programmed with only the legal power output ...... if it is a commercial product the power output will be programable ...... this is necessary because a single users licences may specify different power outputs on different frequencies and in different locations.
It is also not unusual for a single radio to run under multiple licences on different sites.
this is a bit on the bleeding edge of legality, but as long as you do not transmit higher powers than you should and in times and
places where you should not ... it should not be a problem.

Mostly correct,
ACMA will only allow upto 25w for a land mobile licence, I have one for VHF
ABC however is closer 1000w for "broadcast services" some are only permitted a small range ie horse races and significantly lower power output
The radios used by WAPOL Motorola xts2500 capable of upto 150w with a massive heat sink -wouldn't stand near that when TXing.
Often hear on 40 around
perth asking for a radio
check and location this is probably ACMA doing checks to ensure nobody using higher output units for comms on CBRS system.
Out in the low density areas I don't have a issue with higher output as this maybe difference between life n death but the rules state otherwise.
commercial radios Tait/Simoco will typically have 1000 ch capacity unless a very low tier radio probably without remote head capability
