Hi,could anybody tell me about a portable generator called zipstar.I think they are a copy of the scorpion,gmc sets. Seen one at
Warwick Q.L.D and looking for any info please.Thanks Hodgie

if there the same as the bunnings ones (gmc)some people have had a great run and others hate them.
ive got one and couldnt be happier for $200.
bye one try it if its no good take it back i reckon.
also with buif your not happy you can take it back not sure how other
places go.

Hi Mrs Diamond, thanks for the advice,i feel that the zipstar although looking the same as the scorpion, gmc etc from what i have been told the zipstar far exceeds it,s capacity such as running a 1800 watt blower vac and they are only a 450 watt unit where as the others i think are rated at 650 watt. The main thing i was hoping to find out who makes them as i can't get any details on them from the internet which i can for a lot of the other cheapies on the market.From having had a bit of a look around this
forum site i was sure there would be somebody who had purchased one or knew somebody with one.But any way once again thanks.Hodgie
