Hi there,

I have one of the surface-mount types - Ridge Ryder brand - with a few variations of power outlets, voltmeter, & clock. All but the clock are working. The clock has both the usual pos & neg blade terminals on the back - plus a third one. Does this need to be connected up to pos or neg wire? Just thought I'd ask here before I took a 1 in 2 chance of frying the clock.

Also, is it possible to rotate the sockets in the panel? The clock & voltmeter need to be turned 180 degrees & I fear something's going to snap if I try anymore, & it's not the type with the lock position indicated on the front of the sockets.

Cheers.

My guess is that the clock should have three wires being Ground, Accessories and +12VDC which should be a permanent battery supply used to keep the clock running.

The bottom photo shows 2 fuses, one being the Acc supply and the other being permanent 12V.

Good luck with the clock who knows without some documentation or labels on the back.

If the sockets have screw down securing rings on the back they can be rotated, but the clock and Voltmeter look to be moulded ... bad luck

cheers
