We have just completed a run up the Gary Highway Sth to Nth, the condition of the track is pretty good, average speed 20/40kph mostlt 2nd and 3rd gear stuff. The highlight was seeing Lake Cohen with water in it. Great trip well worth it.

I agree Len & Rhonda.

We did the same in late May. Lake Cohen was spectacular!

Hi Len and Rhonda
Looks like a good trip.
We did the Anne Beadell and parts of the Canning this year with a tent, and really enjoyed the journey.
Next year looking at the sort of journey you describe (Gary Junction, Gary Hwy and down to join the Gunbarrel) towing our Eclipse.
How did you go with your trailer?
Cheers
Adrian

Camper isn't a problem so long as you don't mind a bit of pin striping up the sides, it is pretty tight in places.

We did the Gary at Easter and it was a goat track. Was a very picturesque drive but very slow, very rough and the Spinefex was thick. Allow plenty of time for both it and the Gunbarrel
