We were in Condo about 1 month ago and the Utes were still out at Ootha.Check with the Condo Visitor centre but I don't reckon they'll be moved by the 24th!

There is a piece on the Lachlan shire site that I am having difficulty in providing a link. It reads

"Lachlan Shire Council have removed the Utes in the Paddock and placed them in storage in readiness for their remounting at a new location on the Gipps Way, Condobolin opposite the showground/racecourse.

"Original artists will be invited to restore the Utes prior to being transferred to their new location. The timeline of this project is expected to take 3-6 months."

Thanks guys,
I have just rung the Lachlan Shire Coucil and tried to get a viewing of the utes, and to set up some arrangement whereby tourists can still see them. There is no access as such, "insurance reasons", but they may possibly be seen through a fence. The girl didn't know whether the fence was wire or not.

The current location of the utes during restoration is in the new industrial estate at the rear of 2 Galari Circuit Condo. There is a chance that they may be seen through the fence.

If anyone would like to check that out and report back, that would be great.
Thanks

Thanks Keith, That was about 6 or so years ago and our first trip outback with the club. We then had Kings springs put in the back to carry the load better. We have since done 20,000? bush klms including the longest short cut, Cairns to Busselton, and the Finke to Maryvale Road? track? Sunset Nat Pk etc etc.
The Sti is not the best for the bush, the earlier ones are better.
Should have never sold the '82 wagon, bulletproof.
We don't use it much now since Rhonda doesn't like traveling in it.
It amazing how much it costs to not run a car.
I'm afraid age has wearied it.
Your car sounds great. Are you in the Peugeot Car Club NSW?
