Rumor had it that they were offered $5m ten years ago and knocked it back then, so would think that you would want a few more shackles to get it now with the improvements that have been made since then.

Yep - Dick Smith is interested in putting in a bid as long as his mate Singo (
John Singleton) who has a lot of hotel knowledge and experience will join him. Dick does not want to see the pub go into oversea hands, as it a an ICONIC Australian institution. This was quote in last Saturday Australian newspaper or Age from memory
