For a while now, my wife and I have been meeting on a less than a regular basis with member MikeP at The Coffee Club at Skygate, near the airport. Last time we got to wondering if there were other ExplorOz members who would be interested in joining with us for a session along the lines of the arrangement that Muzbry convenes in suburban Melbourne. Interest has been shown by another member couple from the Brisbane North Side. The Melbourne format is that members turn up if they can and talk remote travel. And drink coffee.

We are aware of members on the Sunshine Coast who might be interested in such a gathering. We have no preconceived ideas about the location so are looking for feed back to see if there is a consensus among a sufficient number of EO members to make it worth while to seek out a suitable venue, probably further north than the current location and to make the necessary arrangements. Once we have been through that process we will use the facilities of this web site to post an official gathering.

We are looking forward to getting your feed back. Thanks.

Cheers,

Kevin

Gday Kevin
Yes we do talk travel and drink coffee , but it is the chat and banter that is good for the soul. Im not sure if anyone gets away each week with out a ribbing.
Its great to have people joining in and getting along , asking questions and getting sensible answers about what we should use and what might be best for you .
Just set a place this week and if some travel to far, move the coffee shop.
Good luck and enjoy

Thank you for that advice Muzbry. Good to hear from some one with experience. We enjoyed my one visit to your gathering and learned some valuable information about Victorian High Country. We also met some very well known OE names. Well worth the effort.

Cheers,

Kevin
