Does any one know of any goo that helps to seal the bead against the rim. I've had the tyres off a number of times using tyre pliers fixing various popped beads, but its getting difficult to get a seal again. I've even scrubbed them with abrush to get the dirt off.

gday Andrew,
What is your main prob, seating the bead or the beads leaking??? If it's leaking beads the best method is to remove tyre and clean the rim up with a wire wheel( if no major dents or dings). Another option might be sikaflex which we tried a few times on atv tyres when i worked at a tyre service. (didn't always work..)
anyway best of luck Halfinch..

Clean rim and bead as above.
Then fit HD tubes.

you can also use tyre shine.
not the spray on type but the stuff you paint on.
clean rim and bead spotless and fit tyre to rim .
paint the tyre bead with the black stuff them pump up
