4B.com sells very good winch rope. Located in VIC too.
8 mm rope with breaking strength of 5.9 tonnes (13,000lbs) $ 13.50 per meter. You would probably want 30m depending on your winch.
The site will tell you everything you need to know.

G'day mate,
There is a bit of a news article in the latest issue of 4WD Monthly (page 240; issue # 69). Mob called "4B Equipment of Victoria" is selling "B-Line" for $10-90 per metre. It's rated @ over 8000 kg (18,000 lbs) and is claimed to withstand greater heat levels than the other synthetic ropes.
The picture shows a ready to install length of 30 metres with safety hook and an eyelet to secure to the winch drum.
Phone no. is 03 9734 4511

Don't just narrow your choice to plasma as there are other choices. Also I thaink you can fit more than 30 metres on a hiigh mount ( I am asuming you have ythe high mount) especially if its synthetic rope.
