My Hema HN7's screen no longer responds to touch so I have bought
Exploroz Traveller and installed it on my iPhone 8. I have saved the .wpt file from my Hema to my MacBook but I can't work out how to transfer it into Private
Places in
Exploroz Traveller. Can anyone help me out please?

Hi R1
Top Page 17 of the user manual. Needs to be .GPX.

Sorry R1
Should of added if you only have a few, see page 48, if you have a lot convert them to .GPX on the net, then import them. I have done both ways previously, someone else may know a better method.

Thanks TrevorDavid.
I was able to load a .gpx file which I got off an old Garmin GPS. All the newer waypoints that are on the Hema and are stored in ceWaypoints.wpd are not recognised by the converter programs I have tried. I will try and open it in a text editor and see if I can create New
Places manually.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi,
Have you done a reset on your Hema? Bottom left hand side of GPS using a paperclip?
Mine stops working periodically but when i reset it, it goes for awhile again.

Thanks nellyjr.
The screen got scratched when I lent it to a friend and Hema couldn't get anymore screens so I used a non-glass tablet screen protector which was good except there was one little bit of dust under the protector. So I lifted the protector a bit and wiped the screen and put the protector back but it had lots of air bubbles which were hard to get out. I must have been too rough because the screen stopped working after that. I think I reset it using a paperclip. I will have to try it when I get
home again.
