Member - The MALS (QLD)

before we set off on our 6 month around Australia trip, leaving the Sunshine Coast and heading north. We are driving a silver/white Prado with our name on the wheel cover, and towing a camper trailer. We will have Daniel Morcombe posters/stickers on display (he is the young fellow abducted from our area last December) to maybe jog the memory of a fellow traveller.
We are looking forward to meeting all those other EO travellers out there in the next 6 months. Expect to be in Broome early Sept.
Have been planning this for 3 years
Are we excited? Noooooooo!! that 4 sleeps equates to about 94 hours!

Hi The Mals,

With only 4 sleeps to go, and even with having 3 years to plan, I bet your still doing last minute things!

My eyes are very green at the moment, but hopefully will see you round the traps. Look forward to hearing your stories when you return.

Travel safe and be watch out for the increasing number of impatient drivers on the road!

Thanks Chris, You're right, the last minute things are the hardest and my mind is racing constantly -it's getting the house ready for the housesitter and cleaning and vacuuming the car for the carsitter that's taking time today.

Thank goodness I've just retired!! Don't know how I had time to work!!
