I had a set of the Titan Drawers in my DMax for a while, They are good value in my opinion. not a bad build for the price & worked well.
I ended up taking them out as I found the added weight of the drawers themselves wasn't worth the amount of gear I could fit in them. The Titan I had were 100kgs on their own.
I have gone back to a couple of h/duty tubs that I can remove from the car when not needed. These weigh in at 8kgs empty.
Hope I don't put you off but consider the weight of them compared to other storage options

I had the Outback Drawers fitted as part of the D-Max purchase, excellent product but not cheap.

If I was to do it again I would fit the Titan Drawers from 4WD Supa Centre. The look to be built along the same lines as the Outback Drawers but heaps cheaper so if you are handy and able to install them yourself I would have a very close look at them. Just did a search of their site and can't find them for your car but you may be able to use one of the other ones.

I agree with PMK3. I started out with home made drawers and then commercially made ones and find they are heavy and not an economical use of space due to the space required for the bearings and steel rails. They are also a PITA when you want to transport something tall. I soon worked out what worked best for me and haven't changed it in 20 years. I have a 40L fridge on the left of the back of the wagon, beside that is a 30L fridge and on the very right, a tall slim 40L water tank. Above that, but forward and up against the cargo barrier, I have a (20x20x3 angle) frame that carries 3 plastic tubs (up near the ceiling of the car). When we're not touring, the fridges are removed giving access from the floor to the roof. By placing the fridges on the floor of the car, precludes the need for heavy and expensive drop-down fridge sliders and also allows my wife to look into the fridge without need of a stool. The left hand (taller) fridge is on a conventional slider whilst the smaller one doesn't require one.
I recently had this conversation with my son. He bought a car with the spoofy looking, cool drop-down slider and carpeted drawer system and after a few trips away has planned to sell them. Hope this helps. Deejay.

I have Tanami draws in my 120, they are an excellent build quality and I have never had an issue with them even after them being heavily loaded and surviving many tens of thousands of kilometers of heavily corrugated roads.

They are quite light, the frame section can be easily lifted by one person as the draws and frame are made of alloy, never had a problem with the rollers on the draws. I doubt the whole setup including steel mounting rails, frame, draws and deck would weigh more than 25Kgs.

My used Prado 150 came with Black Widow drawers which I recall seemed to be the standard by which most were judged back then.

Pretty much the same drawers are now available under the RV Storage Solutions banner I believe.

They are expensive, heavy, probably indestructible and not the most efficient use of space with the heavy side rails reducing the width.

If I was starting afresh I would look at Drifta, mostly because the sliding system they use doesn't eat into the space.

I have seen a few custom builders on YouTube who do interesting things.

Probably not cheap but getting exactly what you want rather than "one set suits all" could be value for money in itself.

I have a set of the Titan's in my Pajero. As someone else commented they are pretty heavy, 70kg from memory. Usability is a mixed bag of fruit. I've had issues with lids and other stuff jamming the drawers, making life interesting. I tow an SUV camper trailer from time to time. Despite SUV's advertising to the contrary, the barn door on Pajero's (and probably Prado's) won't open fully with the trailer attached. This makes the right-hand drawer inaccessible when towing. In addition, I have my auxiliary battery mounted in the under-floor cavity in the boot, making it a darn hard days work to do anything like maintenance on that battery. I will pull the Titan's out soon to do some changes with that battery. I suspect the drawers may not go back in.

Whatever you buy I would highly recommend getting handles fitted that only require one handed use - some drawer systems you need one hand to open the latch and the other hand to pull the draw open !

Had the latter on my previous vehicle and it was real pita when using the drawers - current vehicle has one handed opening handles and I love em !!

Whatever the drawer system, please consider Australian made. Every bit helps to get manufacturing back on track in this great land.

I've been waxing and waning, to draw or not to draw or is the verb to 'endraw'? I'm currently about to build some Al shelving. One frustrating thing is that none of the draw system suppliers will put the weight, even an indicative one in their publically available specs. Obviously mdf is going to be heavy but one would think that the relatively lighter weight is a selling point for the the expensive alloy/steel /plywood combinations.
