Not a question but a statement of disappointment. I have found out to today that the 2002 Curdimurka Ball has been cancelled
due to public liability insurance problems. The organisers told me that they are now starting the organisation for 2 October 2004.

Hopefully the public liability mess will be sorted out by then, otherwise there will be nowhere to go

Gary - I can understand your disappointment - the only two balls I have ever held were and still are a liability - both to certain members of the public and myself.

Thanks for the info about the cancellation of Curdimurka. I had planned to go for the first time this year. What a shame that in the Year of the Outback it cannot be held due to public liability insurance. Is there no way around this?
