Seeing you’re in Perth, check out Lithium Battery Wholesalers, at 40 Collingwood St, Osbourne Park. They have a selection of lithium, as well as other allied products. I have 2 of their 100Ah batteries in my canopy, and so far they are performing well.

I also brought my LiFepo4 100ah from Access in Collingwood St in Osborne Park.
I fully charged and load tested it - It had a 100ah capacity.

If you buy on the internet by careful as there are some scammers out there.
Sirius Force/Think Out, buy the batteries in bulk from China.
They put LiFePo4 35AH in a 100AH battery cases
They brand the batteries either Atomic3, Maverick or Optimum Ion. Platinum Lithium or Sirius Force
Then they false advertise the 35AH as 120AH or 100AH .

Is that an old image Bob? Was looking for the SmartHome specs and their website only has SolarKing LFPs. Oddly, when I last enquired directly to SolarKing about the cell type in their 100/120Ahs they said the latest lot are neither prismatic nor cylindrical cells. (SK's website specs are often out of date). Presumably that means pouch cells, possibly due to covid supply problems???

Apologies for misleading anyone but I was finally able to locate the SK email which ACTUALLY said:

"Niether have prismatic cells at the moment, both use large cylinderical cells.
In regards the brand of the cell, this is not information we release."

That SolarHome 100Ah looks good if the specs are right.

Late reply Bazooka, just got back from the Simpson last night.

That photo was from their web page, and a fairly recent deal, I recall. The 2 of 100Ah I bought performed well on the 10 day trip, never dropping below 86% overnight, running both an Engel 80L upright & a 40L chest, running as a freezer. Nights were cold too, down to -1° to -3°.

Dennis,
Good advice about those brands of batteries! I got “stung” buying a pair of Optimum 120’s. Those “cheap” batteries weren’t, as it turns out.

Itech is Great Eastern Highway, Burswood, they say.

Was Rivervale when I grew up about 100m away in the 50s.

Always will be Rivervale for me. :)

I recently went to 100AH lithium after two disasters with 120 AH AGMs.
Got it through outbax.com.au at $469 (now $499!) after checking out a host of independent reviews and user comments. All good, so fitted it to my Trayon slide-on camper. Free delivery, too.
Tests are excellent. Charges in no time, nearly 30kg lighter and I get equivalent of at least a 160AH AGM.
I run a 100L fridge, lights, hot water system, water pump and charge a host of small accessories. A 250w solar panel easily looks after charging. I suspect they are cylinder-based, but it doesn't seem to have affected longevity according to some users.
I leave soon for 2 months free camping in the outback which will give me a better overview, but it is looking very good.
