Good on you for asking. Many/most post of
places are similar and obviously mean something to the poster but nothing at all to the reader. They often make no sense and don't even begin with the state or territory to begin to allow the reader to know where it is. Crazy. So far above, three posts fell over, Whoo Hoo!
If a map of OZ was available and an arrow from centre of OZ, the poster could aim the arrow and drag arrow to the approx distance from the centre to where the feature is in Australia. If on the coast then simples! At least we could then tell within a couple of hundred kilometres where is is in OZ/They should be able to do that because they are there, presumably!
