Eliot Falls was commonly known as
Indian Head Falls ( at least back in 1985 when we were there last) but now seems to be known as
Eliot Falls on most maps. Also see ref to this at -->
this link.

All QPWS information now refer to it as
Eliot Falls. Maybe
Indian Head has been deemed racist and removed by the snowflakes.

I always thought
Eliot Falls was a different falls a little further upstream which many people seemed to miss when I was there back in the 80's and because it was in the same vicinity they often thought they were one falls with either name. Back then I was told
Indian head falls was so named as it's shape looked similar to an American native Indian's headdress,
Twin falls was just around the corner and obvious where its name came from.
I couldn't get the link to work but here's what I thought
Eliot falls is, which opens the question. what do they then call the old
Eliot Falls?
